I also own original made in UK version of this knife which was made in Sheffield of surgical steel this original knife is still perfectly sharp after years of service the Chinese version does not have the same highly polished finished blade of the UK version this apart the blade appears the same the handle is larger on Chinese version which is a plus but only time will tell if the blade is as durable as the UK made knife
